Worms Revolution Announcement

Written by James Pope

Worms Revolution is going to be at E3 and Team 17 is announcing some interesting new additions to the gameplay by inducing both dynamic water and physics objects. Water dynamics add another dimension to the landscape that was already treacherous for a worm to try to maneuver and will be delivered in a few different ways, water can be dispersed in the way of weapons and also as a large deposit within some sort of landscape barrier that once destroyed will unleash the flow of water pushing worms across levels and even provide a swift death to worms who were not fortunate enough to escape. The physics objects however will be deployed during matches and once they’re destroyed will employ a devastating effect on all worms in the vicinity. Objects can hold noxious gas, flames and even more water to cause havoc among the world of worms.

Spying a pool of water our worm decides to unleash its raw power, causing chaos to anyone below and a nice little escape route in the process.

Take that! A simple water-bomb explodes showering an unsuspecting enemy and leaving him to die in a watery grave.

Careful aim with a water pistol sees our intrepid friend washing away his foes.
