While showcasing some of the great options available in Super Mario Maker, we were given some details on how the Amiibo will work with the title. When using characters not from the Mario series (such as the Wii Fit Trainer, as shown in the example) Mario will become “costume Mario” and change apperaance to look like an 8 bit version of the Amiibo. They also showed us a larger 8-Bit Mario Amiibo. The large size represents the larger objects that will become available in the game when used.
