So, You Got A New iDevice?

Written by Austin Griffith

So you got an iDevice?
If so, congrats! You’ve just entered what I consider to be the elite group of those who own Apple products. But knowing you, you’re a gamer aren’t you? And you would hate to have to answer “Uhh…. Err… I have Angry Birds…” when posed about what games you have. Just like we helped you with Xbox, here we are to tell you some of the best iDevice games. (All these games available on iPod Touch, iPad, and iPhone.)

Tiny Tower

This game is one of the games you think looks stupid but is actually addicting. Think of it as FarmVille mixed with the sims, and in a hotel. I’ve spent countless hours in this game. Price: Totally Free

Infinity Blade 2
One of the most visually appealing games in the App Store line up, it’s a mix between sword fighting and amazing story telling. Developed by Epic Games using their unreal Engine, expect 10-15 hours of
Enjoyment. Price: 6.99

Jetpack Joyride:
In Jetpack Joyride you’ll play as jetpack lover Barry /strike/ Villatoro // Steakfries, a man who finds himself in possession of a machine gun jetpack. Speed through levels and aim for the top score! Yet another great game, totally free.

Tiny Wings:
Weeee! Yahoo! In Tiny Wings you play as a tiny bird with tiny wings who just wants to fly! It’s a one touch game. Simply to play, easy to pick up, hard to put down. Price: 99c.

Crimson: Steam Pirates

Developed by Hairbrained Schemes in collaboration with Bungie and their Aerospace project, Crimson is a top town strategy game where you captain a Victorian age steam pirate. Price: $2.99.

Kula Blox

A fun little tilt-to-play game made by Transgaming. While I’ve only played this for a few hours, it’s become well worth the investment. You play as an animal in a crate falling from the sky, your goal is to eat the bigger animals and not get eaten but the ones bigger than you. Price: 99c.

Now that you’ve spent some of those iTunes gift cards you got over the holiday, you must still need some Gamecenter friends, don’t you?
