Announced today, the Mass Effect Trilogy will be released as a compilation Nov 6th on Xbox 360 and PC. It will be released on PS3 at a later date. This is the first time the original Mass Effect will be available on the PS3. Mass Effect will also be available for download as a standalone title on the PSN.
A day of fan celebration will also be held Nov 7th. Check MassEffect.com periodically as announcements of in-game, online and live events will be released soon.
Brief summary of the Mass Effect trilogy. In the original Mass Effect you’ll play as a Shepard waiting for his flock of Reapers. In the 2nd Mass Effect, the Shepard gets so frustrated waiting for his flock of Reapers that he attacks a lonely group of aliens that call themselves, Collectors. We all know they’re hoarders, but they don’t want to hear it. In the final Mass Effect, Shepard finds his flock and everyone lives happily ever after.
