Giants Top Patriots In 2012 Madden Bowl, Archie Manning Still Unimpressed With Eli

Written by Nick Deuel

This weekend the yearly tradition of new commercials with a little football sprinkled in-between continues. Millions around the world will be tuning in to see the heralded return of Ferris Bueller while the Patriots and Giants battle to be called the greatest foot ballers in the world. Who will win this years contest? Will Tom Brady avenge his loss from a couple years ago at the hands of the giants? Will Eli finally get the attention and praise from his father that he has long sought? (Not likely with the sticky situation that is developing in Indianapolis) If you just cant wait to find out who stands victorious then EA Sports has you covered. The Madden Bowl has become a yearly tradition in its own right. Accurately predicting the Super Bowl champion six out of the last eight years, EA’s little simulation might be on to something. This year the Madden gods have picked the Giants to topple the Patriots once again embarrassing Tom Brady. In the sim the Patriots offense is no match for the potent defense line that the Giants bring, as Tom Brady gets sacked four times. The Patriots don’t go down without a fight though. New England ties the game up with less than two minutes to play in regulation. A last second field goal puts the Giants on top.
