Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 Hits Steam Greenlight with a spooky trailer

Written by Austin Griffith

Five Nights at Freddy’s, Scott Cawthon’s indie-action-adventure-horror game that was released, surprisingly, to much herald earlier this year is back for more. After the sad closure of Freddy Fazbear’s pizza chain, it appears the company is back. With a new crew of characters installed with facial-recognition and kid friendly software tied in with a local crime network database. In the words of the games new Steam Greenlight page “What could go wrong?”

A lot, apparently. You see, Freddy and co. are still around, just left partially dismantled and rotting in the back. That’s where you come in. The nightwatchman. Paid to stay alive throughout the night and watch the security guard, the trailer shows us that the doors are gone, instead replaced with lights, cameras, and a lot of action. Oh, and you can wear a Freddy Fazbear mask.

It’s unclear when we’ll see the game hit Steam, but you can guarantee it’ll be getting approved on Greenlight.

Give the trailer a watch below, and be sure to check it out on Steam Greenlight.
