Ubisoft has announced that Farcry 3 will be running a multiplayer beta this summer which will house up to 16 simultaneous players, 6 different player classes and multiple maps for players to participate in including the innovative Firestorm Mode. Players will also have access to dozens of weapons with hundreds of upgrades and customization options. team play will be the focus of multiplayer including the ability to revive downed teammates, zip-lines, combat sliding, psyche gas and barrel bombing just to name a few.
The closed beta will be by invitation only, however there are multiple options when it comes to gaining access. Players who purchase Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will receive a beta code that can be redeemed at http://www.gamestop.com/code which will go live on May 22nd, players can also enter to win 1 of 500 codes to be given away from http://www.farcrygame.com/sweeps after entering via Facebook and last but not least Ubisoft themselves will be giving away codes at Ubi.com & farcrygame.com
