The sequel to THQ’s Darksiders is releasing on Jun 26th for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC of this year as you may know. THQ recently announced that all pre-orders for Darksiders 2 will automatically be upgraded to the limited edition. The limited edition of the game comes with the the retail game and a code for Darksiders2 first single-player DLC pack, Argus’ Tomb. Which players will be able to download once it becomes available. Notice “single-player DLC pack?” I assume we can expect a multiplayer pack to come out sometime as well.
Also available is the collector’s edition of the game. The collector’s edition includes the limited edition, so you’ll get the gaem and the code for the DLC pack, as well as a life-sized replica of Death’s mask that comes with a display stand. Also added is the Shadow of Death armor with enhanced stats, a digital copy of the games soundtrack and a hardbound Darksiders 2 art book. The collector’s edition will only be available in pre-order and will sell for about $99.
Pre-orders can be made with Gamestop, Amazon.com, Best Buy, Walmart.com, EB Games, and the THQ store for consoles. Pre-orders for the PC version may only be done through the THQ store.
