Reggie and Iwata muppets aside Nintendo’s Digital Event kicks off with a bang.
Nintendo took their digital stage to introduce a new set of Amiibo, Turbo Charge Donkey Kong with his vehicle the Barrel Blaster and new Hammer Slam Bowser (complete with mjolnir -like hammer) figure with his vehicle Clown Cruiser.
However, the biggest surprise came from the announcement that these figures are a product of a Amiibo and Skylanders corroboration. You can use these figures as an Amiibo or Skylander figure via a switch on the bottom of the figure.No info if the Skylander vehicles for the Nintendo characters will also work as an Amiibo.
With the introduction of these new types of Amiibo in a vehicle based game it could mean that vehicle Amiibo might not be too far behind.
New character skins never before seen on these classic Nintendo characters will be exclusive to the Nintendo WiiU version of Skylanders Super Chargers.
