As successful as the Humble Bundles are new websites are immerging using similar
formats to sell bundles of indie games. IndieRoyale.com is a new site that
features bundles of 4 or more independent titles every two weeks at an initial
discounted price and then increased as more consumers buy the
bundles.
This is a very good business strategy because it mixes social influence with setting
prices. How it works is that the price can be lowered for everyone depending on
how generous you are. So if you pay more than the current minimum price of the
bundle, then that will help lower the price and get yourself a mention on the
front page.
IndieRoyale’s first bundle offers these games:
