Euroleague Teams In NBA 2K14 1

For the first time in series history NBA 2k will have more than just NBA teams on its roster. 2K sports has announced that there will be Fourteen Euroleague Teams In NBA 2K14. The Euroleague has produced many stars that have come over to the NBA as well as provided a landing spots for American athletes who could not find a place on an NBA roster. As of now there have been no announcements as to how exactly the teams will be integrated into the top selling basketball video game. It would be neat to see some sort of tournament mode that would allow us to pit these fourteen teams against fourteen NBA teams of our choosing and see just how it would play out. From the included screenshot it appears that we will also be seeing their arenas in play which would stand to reason that we could get the chance to play with the oddly shaped paint area European basketball utilizes. It will be interesting to see how this latest addition plays into the upcoming title and how deeply integrated these new teams will be.

The Euroleague teams being added include: Alba Berlin, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, CSKA Moscow, EA7 Emporio Armani Milano, Montepaschi Siena, Fenerbahçe Ülker Istanbul, Anadolu Efes Istanbul, Olympiacos Piraeus, Panathinaikos Athens, Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv, Zalgiris Kaunas, Unicaja Málaga and Laboral Kutxa Vitoria.

We’re absolutely delighted to welcome top Euroleague teams into the NBA 2K series, said Jason Argent, Senior Vice President of Sports Operations at 2K. European basketball has an incredibly passionate following, and we’re all excited to give fans the opportunity to take on Europe’s best in NBA 2K14.

We are very proud to collaborate with 2K Sports by introducing our teams and players into the best basketball video game in the world, added Mr. Jordi Bertomeu, Euroleague Basketball President and CEO. With this partnership, we’re able to bring fans one step closer to the action by ushering the Euroleague into the global gaming community.
