War of the Worlds is on it’s way to a Xbox 360 near you. Arriving on XBLA next week on Oct 26th for 800 MSP ($10.00). It’s a 2D side-scroller narrated by Sir Patrick Stewart. The story will run parallel of the 1953 movie adaptation of the original H.G. Wells story. Though taking on a new character with a new storyline, charcters and locations. It should quickly remind you of two great games that I love, Out of This World and Flashback. You’ll take control of an un-named man in the middle of the alien invasion in London. Your mission is to fight through the chaos in order to reach and rescue your family. It will also be coming to PSN and PC, but launch dates remain to be announced, all we know is expect them soon.
