At first blush you could be forgiven for dismissing Girl Fight as a shallow fighting game cashing in on cheesecake but you’d be mistaken, sort of. Girl Fight is definitely cashing in on cheesecake but also offers surprising depth in its all-girl roster of fighters. Each character sports a significant command list of combo chains and moves. As a 3D fighting game, it succeeds in feeling like some of the bigger budget games in the genre. When compared to the likes...
Sanctum, third place for my 2011 Game of the Year picks here at Levelsave.com (I’ve been here coming up on two years already?) by Coffee Stain Studios was a beautifully executed cross-genre experience. There has been some news of Sanctum 2 being released to both PC and console platforms, and I’ve gotten my hands on a preview build of the game. This is a game wherein you create a maze and place turrets to kill creeps, and then enter first person mode in order to...
SUDA 51 is bringing us a new game that will bring entertaining story telling to the classing old school platforming genre, and from I have seen so far Black Knight Sword looks like it has the potential to be a sneaky good title. Set in a dark fairy tale the title character is led by the Sword Fairy through a mysterious world filled with bizarre creatures and beautiful environments. The Black Knight is on a mission to discover who has trapped him within this...
Orc Attack has almost hit its $32,000 goal on Kickstarter which must be met by December 9th and in an effort to help push support they have released a new trailer. In the “Dirty Mode” trailer the team is showing fans what happens when these vile Orcs release their collective flatulence to lay their opponents to rest. Orc Attack is a 1-4 player co-op hack n slash title coming to the PC and all home consoles at some point in 2013. Those interested can get more...

Pid, the fun unique platformer from Reverb Games has just been given a confirmed release date of October 31st. Barry and Myself had a chance to try Pid at PAX Prime in September, and it seems like a fun, vibrant, bright platformer. One things for sure – Reverb is really stepping up its game lately, and from what I can gather, is looking to become one of the bigger publishers in the industry. Again, look for Pid to land on Xbox Live and Steam on October 31st for 800...
