Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has bundles of the game for sale that include a remastered version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. They dropped the 4 in the title of the new game for some reason, and released it as “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.” I picked up one of the bundles that included the remaster and just finished a veteran run through it, so I think a mini-review may be warranted as a follow-up to my Infinite Warfare review. So what is included in...
Call of Duty is a series that seems to get less interesting every year in some way or another. When games as visually rich as these ones hit, you start to feel fatigued after a few years because they all end up looking the same. They look good… but they look the same. I don’t like to knock the visual presentation of games much because I think modern gaming has given us the best looking titles we could hope for. With games like Call of Duty being released annually...
Sony E3 2015 marks the worldwide reveal of Call of Duty: Black Op 3’s campaign. Treyarch’s popular iteration to the Call of Duty franchise is being shown off on a Sony stage! Call of Duty appearing on the main stage of a Sony Press conference is a first for the franchise, but a pattern when compared to Activision and Sony’s treatment of Destiny and its DLC. Black Ops 3 multiplayer trailer was also revealed, complete with wall-running, teleporting, and...
David Harewood, the English actor best known for his roles in Blood Diamond and Homeland, has been rumored as the lead role for Infinity Ward’s next Call of Duty, according to a vetted source close to the matter. Call of Duty operates on a three year cycle, which slates Infinity Ward’s next Call of Duty for a holiday 2016 release. Harewood, who’s IMDB lists him as as currently doing work on “Grimsby,” certainly has the talent for the job...
Video game developers continue to push the boundaries of advertisements for games. From star-studded trailers to the hacked website of a bee enthusiast, game-makers are not afraid to take risks on new methods of building hype for their titles. Still… few creators have taken to updating old games in order to push out hype for their next one.
Earlier today CallOfDuty’s Twitter had a weird sense of reflection of people not showing up for work after partying all night; seems like Deja Vu of what you go through every day, right? this is crap. NOBODY shows up to work after i had to stay late? probably partied all night knowing i’d pick up their shifts. jerkasses. — Call of Duty (@CallofDuty) March 23, 2015 Maybe and followers though it was an accidental Tweet by and Activision employee reflecting on...
Microsoft opened up it’s E3 2014 conference with our first look at Activision and Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The trailer showed three soldiers (the player controlled character named Mitchell) dropping in to South Korea in an ODST-style drop, pod. In what, as far as we know, is in-game gameplay, the graphics looked pretty impressive for a Call of Duty game. While not the most beautiful game in existence, it is a huge improvement from what...
Call of Duty: Ghosts is the best selling game on the PS4 in North America. Not only has Ghosts taken the top selling spot on the PS4, it has also become the most pre-ordered game on the Xbox One. With Black Friday right around the corner, it will probably keep that lead as well. “Call of Duty: Ghosts is the No. 1 best-selling game on PS4 in North America at Best Buy, GameStop, Target and Walmart, and also the No. 1 pre-ordered Xbox One title inNorth America at...
No need for paranormal investigators, the new Call of Duty: Ghosts has been released. From the creative minds of Neversoft, Activision, Infinity Ward and Raven; Call of Duty: Ghosts is like fans have never seen. They have upgraded their game play and revamped the scenery to be more realistic and accurate. One example of this is the simple changes of the world around you. In this new game the maps that you have seen before have been almost restored and brought back to life...
Activision and Infinity Ward this week released their first trailer for the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts and its single player mode… and oddly enough, it excited me. I have to admit I haven’t been a fan of Call of Duty in recent years, ever since Black Ops I’ve felt very unimpressed and unexcited for new additions to the series that’s why when Acitivison sent me the press release for the new trailer, I didn’t even bother to open the email. I...
