Pokemon Black and White TWO! [Update]

Written by Chris Lock

For the first time ever one of the Pokemon games is getting a direct sequel. Pokemon Black & White, arguably the best game in the series, will soon have to make way for Pokemon Black & White 2.

There is not much info about the games thus far but what we do know is exciting. There are going to be two new Pokemon that seem to be a fusion of Kyurem and Zekrom/ Kyurem and Reshiram. The two creatures are simply named Kyurem Black and Kyurem White respectively. They are also, allegedly, going to be listed as separate Pokemon to capture. The official Pokemon website also tells fans to “get excited for two incredible new adventures.” This could mean that we are actually, and quite probably, getting more than just a remix of the original Black and White. In a perfect world it would mean that both Black and White differ in more than just which Pokemon you can catch. Hey, a man can dream can he not?

Black and White 2 are set for a June release in Japan. No announcement was made as to an English release date but the last Pokemon game took roughly six months to reach us so it may be quite a wait. Both games will be released for the DS and not the 3DS. Keep your eyes glues to LevelSave for more news and the eventual review.

Are you excited? Would you be ok with Pokemon Fusion? Let us know in the comments.
