Deus Ex: Mankind Divided evolves in 2016 // E3 2015

Written by James T. George

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, the followup to the critically acclaimed Human Revolution, was given a chance to shine at Square Enix’s conference today. Taking place two years after the previous game, you once again take the role of Jensen, who is an augmented human. He, and others like him, are feared by the general public and are regulated to ghettos.

Jensesn, who works with an anti-terror task force, is after a shadow group called the Illuminati, and he has a large number of weapons and enhancements at his disposal. The game will have multiple endings, steered by your actions throughout the story. Square Enix showed us the first glimpse of actual game play, which featured sci-fi locales and augmented combat experiences. From guns to blades, there is a lot of choice available to the player as he tries to redefine what being Human means.

Mankind Divided will be available in Early 2016 on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
