They kind of just brushed this off to the side, but as Jonathon Blow took the stage at Sony’s Playstation 4 press conference, they announced that the PS4 will allow developers to self publish, in a way much like Xbox Live’s Indie Marketplace. Well, that’s sad. The PlayStation 4 will not support the playing of previous generations of PlayStations games, nor the PlayStation 3. If you had any reason to have a sad, now is the time. The PlayStation Cloud service will be rolling out in phases.
David Perry just announced that the PlayStation 4 will have a social aspect where you can live stream any and all games to the world, then allow a friend to take control of your controller and solve a level for you.
