Announced at E3 the PS Vita is getting a triple A title to add to its collection. AC III: Liberation will be a Vita exclusive and promises to contain everything that Assassins Creed fans have come to love about the series. Making full use of the Vitas touchscreen, rear touch pad, camera and gyroscope while maintaining the combat, free-running and intense storyline that all of expect from the series as well.
Liberation features the 1st female protagonist in the series, Aveline who is described as a woman of passion fighting for freedom in 18th century New Orleans as it nears rebellion with the Spanish Empire imposing its will.
In addition players who pick up Liberation on the Vita and AC III on the PS3 will have access to exclusive content such as an in-game version of Connors tomahawk, an exclusive character skin, a multiplayer character and complete upgrade to all ammunition pouches.
The release of Assassin’s Creed III Liberation will be the series’ most ambitious handheld offering to date,” said Geoffroy Sardin, chief EMEA sales and marketing officer at Ubisoft/Tony Key, US senior vice-president of sales and marketing at Ubisoft. Liberation will be available 10-30-12 in stores and for download on PSN for the Vita
