I’m not going to lie to you, I’ve been excited for Rainbow Six Siege ever since the trailer first rolled on E3 last year. The premise is simply amazing: hostage taking and recovery, just like you always used to pretend to do as a kid, but this time for real. It’s something my pals and I have dreamt of for years, and making it a reality has me throwing money at Ubisoft.
The new trailer gives us a good glimpse of some of the gameplay we’ll be seeing from both sides of the field, including breaching through the roof, on an airplane, and who knows where else. The game, which is currently in a closed Alpha, will also be opening put o a full public beta shortly. Players who’d like to get their hands on the beta can preorder it on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, or PC for guaranteed entree.
