Yesterday CEO and Creative Director from Ready At Dawn Ru Weerasuriya, posted a new trailer for The Order: 1866 on the Playstation Blog and gave some story details. This conflict that started centuries ago pitted mankind against half-breeds in a battle for survival. This became the catalyst for the noblest warriors of their time to come together in an alliance, an Order that waged war and held the line for hundreds of years. Through the centuries, their vigil has kept...
One of the things that has me thinking the most about Titanfall is, “Is there a story?” We haven’t really heard much, but with Militia, IMC, Titans falling out of the sky and more, it would seem strange for there to be no story. Well luckily, the folks over at Major Nelson’s blog were able to sit down and ask Respawn dozens of questions. Not just any questions, but questions from the community. One of the questions from a man named Adam Bankhurst had...
Well hopefully you are not, but I definitely did last night. The black screen happens not too long after start up. I hit my home button during a game of Titanfall and the screen went black. You can still hear everything that is going on, just can’t see anything. Apparently many Xbox One users have experienced this as well, since there’s a nice long post on the Xbox Forums. It seems it mostly happens when going home from a game. There is a quick way to fix the...
The Humble Indie Bundles often range from amazing to mediocre with several sitting at average. This time, however, the offer is tilting heavily on awesome. The games included are: Guacamelee! Gold Edition – I reviewed this on PS3 and Vita and loved it. It was actually my 6th Platinum trophy. James reviewed it for PC and as his tagline suggests, you should bring a controller for the PC port. Dust: An Elysian Tail – I also had the privilege of reviewing this on Xbox 360...

According to Ken Levine, founder of Irrational Games, the studio will soon be downsizing to a team of about 15 employees. The developer, known for the wildly successful Bioshock and its spiritual sequel Bioshock Infinite, is switching focus towards smaller, narrative heavy, digital releases in the wake of Inifinite’s massive delays and production issues. In a statement posted on the Irrational website, Levine had this to say, “While I’m deeply proud of...
Rayman Legends is out today on Xbox One and PS4. Each version of the game comes with its own exclusive characters and new challenges. The Xbox One version of Rayman Legends has three exclusive characters that players can unlock. You have Splinter Ray who’s design is influenced by Sam Fisher and coming from the design of the villain from Far Cry 3 is Ray Vaas and Far Glob. The Playstation 4 version is getting Assassin Ray who is obviously inspired by Edward Kenway...
Early in 2010 I was living the normal teenage boy life: play Xbox every day, from the minute I got home from school until 9PM that night; weekends consisted of me and my friends staying up until 7 or 8 AM playing Call of Duty: World at War, Gears of War 2, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and Halo 3. I was a nerd, a social shut-in, some might say I was a freak; I had more friends on my Xbox then I did at my school, and those friends that I did have I normally talked to more on...
The Evil Within, the new nightmare fuel from the mind of the legendary Shinji Mikami will finally be released on August 26th. The Evil Within has been teased as a “return to form” for the Survival Horror auteur and looks to be a delightful blood carnival if all the pre-release trailers are anything to go by. Originally announced in 2012 for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, the game will also be making the jump to Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Mikami, best known for...
