So this is the first in a, hopefully, weekly web comic series entitled “F’in Saved.” We really hope you enjoy them as we slaved over a hot graphics processing program to bring you this funny. The post will typically include the comic and some silliness about its inspiration. As you might know I have been playing through Pokemon Emerald recently. I found myself lost on Victory Road and ended up slaying thousands of Golbats. During those grueling hours I...
Last year, an interesting Wii U exclusive was debuted by Ubisoft: Killer Freaks from Outer Space. This game was supposed to be about killing freaks from outer space and using the Wii U GamePad in interesting ways. As Ubisoft Montpelier, famous for games such as Rayman Origins and From Dust worked on the game, they decided to take a very different direction with it. This resulted in the creation of the Wii U launch title ZombiU. ZombiU is a first person survival horror...
As E3 came and went, many of us are still puzzled as to which company had the best press conference. I personally have been hearing a mix of people saying it was either Ubisoft, Sony, or Nintendo. Rather than let my biases for different companies decide the winner, I decided to go a different route for 2012. I created a grading scale which determined for me who would be the best. The details of the scale are below, but as you can see, the big points were awarded for...
Anybody who grew up on Star Trek waaaayyyy back then, may remember an iconic episode called,”Arena”. In this episode, Captain Kirk is forced into a one on one battle with a reptilian foe, known as the Gorn. The episode is oozing so much cheese it is enough to make The Slow Food Movement’s Biennial Terra Madre & Salone del Gusto gush in envy. Ok, slightly obscure reference… Anyway, The Gorn in the game will be a little more varied than the costume...
Holy Crap, there’s a lot of new coming out! I didn’t say a lot of interesting news, but a lot of news nonetheless. We figured that instead of making you search the site for all your E3 news, we’d do you the favor of putting it all into one post! Below you’ll find all of the articles we’ve posted while covering E3. As more posts are written and published we’ll continue to add them here and update this post. Now with that out of the way...
I’m sure many of you have heard about the tragedy that befell the 38 Studios and Big Huge Games the past couple weeks. If you haven’t here’s a recap: every employee of Big Huge Games and 38 Studios the developers of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning were laid off. The exact details are not known and frankly don’t matter. The employees worked up until the day they walked into work to be notified that they no longer have a job. As much fun as the video game...

Back when I was a child, I have some very fond memories of favorite games. There were great games like Banjo-Tooie, Ocarina of Time, and best of all: Paper Mario. While my love for Nintendo has often fleeted, Paper Mario always brings it back. And now, at Nintendo’s E3 Press Conference, Nintendo unveiled the newest addition to Paper Mario: Paper Mario Sticker Star. In Paper Mario Sticker Star, Paper Mario uses all his familiar abilities with a twist –...
“You will die of suffocation, in the icy cold of space” Man, that is a bit of bummer. Lucky for Trekkers, 2013 will see people risk space death with the voices of Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto reprising their Star Trek roles in the upcoming co-op Star Trek game. And not only are Pine and Quinto bringing their talents to the game, but the rest of the main cast is also doing voice-overs as well. Simon Pegg as Scotty, Karl Urban as Dr “Bones” McCoy, Zoe...
