Just an update on how the popularity contest between the Legendarys is going. It has entered round 2 and the big guns are starting to be displayed. All of the Uxie and Phione nonsence Pokemon have been eliminated as they should have. An interesting note is that the Legendary Dogs were all eliminated in the first round, after they were all votes on to appear instead of the Legendary Birds. You can vote once a day and each bracket lasts a week. So hop to it, because Celebi is...
6.5Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD – It’s a New Coat of Paint
Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD is pretty much exactly what it sounds like. A faithful recreation of the original Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2. There are several real life licensed skaters to choose from and there are 7 levels including the Warehouse, Downhill Jam and Venice Beach. The classic Warehouse is still the starting point in which you have to collect objects and complete objectives to unlock the next map. Tricks are done in the classic Tony Hawk fashion of using the...
Save Game+ Episode 14 – What’s Your Magic Ability?
The crew is back and this week we talk nonsense, go figure. Listen to this episode after eating because we talk a lot about food. There’s also talk about zombies, magical powers, Chris wanting to destroy the sun, how I created Reese’s Puffs first and it gets a little dark when Chris talks about being a wizard. Like real dark. We want to thank our awesome listeners for the great questions! Give us feedback our ask a question by emailing...
Double Dragon: NEON Rocking Your World September 11th &12th
Double Dragon: NEON the awesome rocker of a game being developed by WayForward Technologies just got a set release date of September 11th on PlayStation Network (An odd date to be releasing a game.) and September 12th fro Xbox Live Arcade. Both versions will cost you $10 (or 800 Microsoft Spacebucks) and should get your blood pumping. Double Dragon: NEON is sure to be a pretty awesome game, and from what I’ve heard, some people might have liked the original a little...
Dark Souls Naked Run 3
In this episode I decide that I am going to start using an ax. I do this for two reasons, you can not increase your base punch attack and the punch only ever does 215 damage. I do not want to watch that, and I can not imagine that you do either. Let me know what you think though because I might just go back to punching. Being frustrated may be more entertaining.
Need for Speed Most Wanted gets Pre-order Bonuses
The announcement at E3 that Criterion was developing the next Need for Speed game, and that the game was a remake of Most Wanted made me feel like a kid at Christmas. With the premise of a completely open world environment in which friends can race each other and likely compete by building their bounty, I’m more excited for a Need for Speed game than I have been in quite a while. In a recent press release, Electronic Arts announced some of the pre-order bonuses for...
A Virus Named TOM BETA Update 1,2,3 and 4
A Virus Named TOM – All of the BETA Update Videos in One Place
So yeah, since I only heard about this great-looking puzzle game a couple of weeks ago, so I’m sticking all of the A Virus Named TOM BETA Update Videos in one post for you to enjoy. Misfits Attic has just released the last one in the series, and the game is set to be released for digital download on August 1. Unfortunately the game is only for PC, but it looks polished and I wouldn’t be surprised if it did eventually come to XBLA or PSN, but that’s just...
7Gateways – Love Retro Games?
From the creators of The Adventures of Shuggy (review here), Smudged Cat Games brings us a quite unique game called Gateways for the PC. Gateways is a 2D platform game about a lab scientist named Ed, who is trying to escape his very own lab after an outbreak of his experiments. You are in control of Ed and your mission is to navigate him through his lab solving puzzles and ultimately helping him escape. If you have yet to play any of the Smudge Cat games, you should know...
Pokemon Black 2 Playthrough Diary
In this reoccurring feature I play through Pokemon Black 2. this series will try to avoid any key spoilers in the game. However, minor spoilers such as battles and character may be spoiled. This is not intended to be a review of the game and more of a written “Let’s Play.” For this reason it is written in first person since this is my experience. Be sure to leave a comment if you feel like it is lacking in any way. I had a goal when starting into the new Pokemon...
