This past weekend at the Coachella Music Festival a midst the music and art, for weary travelers was an Arcade filled with retro games. Some of which included No Impact-Man, Waste Invaders, and DangerousDig. This whole arcade concept was created by Gobal Inheritance, a non-profit organization dedicated to employing technology, the arts, and experiential learning.
In order to play these games, instead of the traditional quarters, players would do a act of eco-friendly do-goodery from a list. Some of which included recycling 3 bottles/cans ,taking a photo with the polar bears, taking yourself composting, or write a love letter to Recyclasaurus Rex (this guy below, he looks like a totally softie).
