How about some new Pokemon? Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby video

Written by Chris Lock

Nintendo recently announced the existence of two “new” Pokemon games, Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby. These games are remakes of the original 3rd generation Pokemon games, Ruby and Sapphire. These remakes have seen a complete graphical overhaul into the new 3D Pokemon engine as well as new story ton include cannon for Mega Evolutions.

Speaking of mega evolutions, the two mascots for Ruby and Sapphire, Groudon and Kyogre, are getting their own Mega Evolution in the form of Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre. These forms give the two Pokemon the power they had before they beat the tar out of one another and were cast into a long slumber long ago; according to the Pokemon lore.

The three starter Pokemon also see a Mega Evolution. My hope is that there are even more Mega Evolutions added for some of the less used Pokemon. Mega Hypno, Mega Sandslash, and Mega Metagross for example would be great additions.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be released worldwide on November 21, 2014. You can find all the information you need to get hyped in the video below.
