SimCity Sold 1.1 Million Copies, 1.1 Million People Agitated

SimCity British City-Set

I’m sure everyone has heard about the SimCity DRM disaster. It’s hard to play a game that needs to be online at all times, if the servers are a bunch of turds. Anyways, EA wants everyone to know that they have sold 1.1 million copies of SimCity and almost half of those were digital versions. Within, the first two weeks of SimCity’s release, 15 million hours were spent online in-game and probably 10 million hours were spent online hating EA for the horrible release of SimCity.

1.1 million is an exceptional number and you shouldn’t be afraid to pick it up now. I hear it’s running much better and that it’s pretty darn fun.
